Meet Gauri Jadhav of Earth Alliance Corporation, a champion of #Hydroponics and a true woman of the soil. Gauri an MBA from the Pune University, runs an exotic vegetable farm near Pune. Her venture #EarthAllianceCorp. looks after organic vegetable and fruit farmer support and sales.

No manicured hands for Gauri..she likes to get them dirty in her farm, nurturing exotic produce.
After traversing the globe, when Gauri moved back to Pune from Dubai, she realised that there’s a dearth of exotic vegetable suppliers in Pune. Not one to do away with her regular dose of salads, she started experimenting growing them at her own farm. Encouraged by family and friends who got a taste of her deliciously fresh and crunchy salads, she plunged herself wholeheartedly into farming and has set up her farm at Autadewadi , Bhor, Pune.
A crusader of the organic way of farming, Gauri wants to set an iconic example in farming and get better status to farmers. Gouri uses the hydroponics technology which means soil less farming to grow her vegetables. This prevents direct attack of any diseases as there is no contact of plant roots in the soil. The use of biopesticides makes it safe for human consumption. Some of the exotic vegetables cultivated at the farm are broccoli, kale, lucerne, golden and red cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, basil, red cabbage and white brinjal. She also grows exotic salad leaves like rucola, ice berg lettuce, rocket salad etc.
Gouri is personally involved in the all the processes right from cultivation to selling!
Her job’s not a bed of roses..or juicy salads, there are many challenges she faces, but being a certified six sigma black belt gives her the ability to tackle these issues proactively.
Gouri is working towards her dream of being the top most farmer for exotic vegetables and fruits, using modern technology and having her own end to end chain for cultivation to retail sales. Her MangoMango brand started in 2014 had about 50-100 customers, but in less than two years, it has reached to 1500 customers!
